How to add ads TXT to Squarespace site
How do I fix ads TXT error?
If there's an issue with ads.txt on your site, you'll see an alert in your AdSense account. The personalized ads.txt file includes your publisher ID. Your publisher ID must be included and formatted correctly for your ads.txt file to be verified.
If there's an alert on your homepage, click Fix now. Otherwise, click Sites. Click the Down arrow Down Arrow to open the "Create an ads.txt file for..." message. Click Download. Your ads.txt file is automatically downloaded. If you’re using another ad network, remember to add that network to your ads.txt file. Contact your ad network for their ads.txt information.
Where do I put ads TXT (ads.txt file) in Squarespace?
On Squarespace, go to your Pages, and create a blank page under the "Not Linked" section. On that page, create a text block and write anything you like. I wrote "test". Highlight the text and click on the hyperlink icon. Once the small window pops up, click on the settings icon. Go to the "File" section and upload the ads.txt file. Once uploaded, click on it to select it (a tick mark will appear next to it). Click apply then save the page.
Return to your page's dashboard and go to Settings --> Advanced --> URL Mappings. In the box, type "/ads.txt -> /s/ads.txt 301". Save.
